I just didn't want to offend by reading friendship into what may have just been a matter of pragmatism. I'm glad to hear that you don't mind my asking, though, and that you got what you wanted out of the experience, difficult as it was.

That makes a lot of sense as well, though. The wanting to live for both of your selves, after having met yourself. [ That's a really awkwardly phrased sentence and Ienzo hovers over it for a bit before deciding it can't really be helped and proceeding. ] I actually prototyped my sprite with a fragment of my former self back in the session of Sburb I participated in. It sounds as if your relationship with yourself was considerably less adversarial than mine, but again, I think I can relate to some degree.
